Abstract

The number of passengers through sea transportation rose 128.10 percent from 21,674 people (April 2019) to 49,438 people (May 2019).

The flow of goods traffic by sea also rose 11.69 percent from 1.30 million tons (April 2019) to 1.45 million tons (May 2019). The increase came from the volume of cargo loading (14.12 percent) and unloading of goods (6.58 percent).

Flight frequency rose 12.22 percent from 1,636 flights (April 2019) to 1,836 flights (May 2019).

The number of passengers through air transportation fell 2.85 percent from 119,534 people (April 2019) to 116,131 people (May 2019).

Air freight traffic rose 7.74 percent from 1,137 tons (April 2019) to 1,225 tons (May 2019). The increase came from the unloading volume of goods (12.30 percent) and cargo load (0.46 percent).

Through sea ports, passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai (56.25 percent) and goods in Sampit (44.06 percent). While through the airport, it is still concentrated in Tjilik Riwut both passenger activities (44.31 percent) and goods (47.02 percent).
